Freshly Plastered Walls

Sealing Coat Application

We mix the correct ratio based on the absorbency of the plaster. Plasterboard with a skim coat behaves differently from bare board — we assess and adjust accordingly.
First and Second Fix

3. Sealing Coat
A diluted sealing coat is applied across all new plaster surfaces. We allow full dry time before proceeding. This step is non-negotiable on new plasterboard.
4. First Finish Coat
Full-strength emulsion is applied. The first coat confirms surface consistency. Any remaining absorption differences are addressed before the second coat.
5. Second Coat and Inspection
The second coat completes the finish. We inspect all surfaces in good light, checking for any missed areas or uneven coverage before leaving.
